The NBA will unveil this season’s Most Valuable Player on Wednesday night. The winner will be Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Denver’s Nikola Jokic or Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Despite his team being outscored by 30 points in the second half of a lopsided 114-88 Game 1 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder Tuesday night, Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards was optimistic about Game 2, saying “I definitely got to shoot more.”
Spurs guard Stephon Castle was the only unanimous choice for the NBA’s All-Rookie first-team, which also included Zaccharie Risacher, Jaylen Wells, Zach Edey and Alex Sarr.
