Damian Lillard’s first-half masterpiece carried the Bucks, who were without Giannis Antetokounmpo, to a win over the Pacers on Sunday in Game 1 of their series.
“They were physical and we were passive,” Mavericks coach Jason Kidd said in summing up his team’s 109-97 loss to the Clippers in the opening game of their first-round playoff series.
James Harden netted 20 of his 28 points in the opening half to help the Clippers build a 29-point lead en route to a 109-97 win over the Mavericks in Game 1. “Still can score with the best of ’em,” he said.
